2013 Maruti Suzuki

Maruti Suzuki has facelifted the Wagon R for 2013, giving the vehicle quite a few changes. The Wagon R is one of the best selling cars for Maruti Suzuki and has constantly been the fourth highest selling car in the company’s portfolio. However last month, the company saw a sharp decline in the sales of the Wagon R, which fell ten positions in overall sales.
The Wagon R sold 11,075 units in November 2012 but fell to a low 4316 units in December 2012. Now the facelifted Wagon R is all set to boost back sales of the vehicle, bring it back in the top 5. The 2013 Maruti Suzuki Wagon R gets a new front grille, which is smaller than before. The single slat grille replaces the three slat grille on the older model. The bumper gets a bigger air dam while the fog lights get new enclosures.
The headlights, wheels and most part of the exteriors continue to be the same as the old model. We some how find the old Wagon R more appealing on the outside than the new version. The interiors of the new Wagon R get a good uplift too. The black and gray interiors have been replaced by beige and brown interiors which look more airy and give the vehicle an upmarket feel. 2013 Maruti Suzuki Seats.
The dashboard of the 2013 Maruti Suzuki Wagon R gets slight changes with the centre console getting revised buttons. The top end VXi variant gets an integrated audio system with a USB port. The seats are given the beige treatment too and make the Wagon R feels bigger than before, although the dimensions are unaltered.
The engines too are untouched and power continues to come from the tried and heavily tested 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder, K-series petrol mill which churns out 68 PS of power and 90 Nm of torque. The company hasn’t announced prices yet and will do so in the later part of this week. he facelift model of WagonR has come as a delight for Indian auto enthusiasts who demand a superior mileage at an affordable price.
