For 2013, the 5.7-liter HEMI® V-8 makes its debut in Ram 3500 Heavy Duty pickup as standard equipment (single rear wheel). Also standard in the Ram 2500 Heavy Duty, the engine produces 383 horsepower at 5,600 rpm and generates peak torque of 400 lb.-ft. at 3,950 rpm. The HEMI V-8 is mated to a 66RFE six-speed automatic transmission. Dominating the power charts, the renowned 6.7-liter Cummins High-Output Turbo Diesel I-6 is now available in three versions.

The first version is paired with Ram's segment exclusive six-speed manual transmission, which features a wear-compensating clutch for lifetime "like-new" performance and a dual-trunion shift tower to accommodate a compact shift pattern. 2013 Dodge Dart

2013 Dodge Dart is the most visible manifestation of the still-new monogamous relationship between Chrysler and Fiat, the Pentastar's savior from the depths of government-sponsored bankruptcy (or worse). If you'll recall, one of the big problems pundits, management and government officials identified with Chrysler's US lineup was its complete lack of competitive small cars. Now would be a good time to mention that Dodge had a good thing with the original Neon.

Not only did the little subcompact sell in conspicuously high numbers, it was also pretty fun to drive, especially in 150-horsepower ACR Coupe trim. In fact, so entertaining was the little two-door coupe, powered as it was by a dual-overhead-cam version of Chrysler's 2.0-liter four cylinder, that it spawned its very own racing series. Dodge has seen fit to offer its excellent 8.4-inch Uconnect in-dash technology in the Dart, and for that, we're thankful. It's quick, intuitive and powerful, and nothing else in the compact sedan class has any infotainment tech that's anywhere near as competent. Three engine options are available (or at least will be available once the delayed R/T model hits dealerships), including a standard 2.0-liter naturally aspirated mill, a 1.4-liter turbocharged and intercooled unit that leads the pack in efficiency and a 2.4-liter with 184 horsepower and 171 pound-feet of torque for those looking for the most powerful option. We drove a Dart with the standard 2.0-liter engine mated to a six-speed automatic for a week, then sampled the 1.4-liter turbo with a six-speed manual. Dodge Dart 2013.

The six-speed automatic that can be had with the base 2.0-liter engine is smooth enough that it mostly went unnoticed. Like most modern cars, the tranny's electronic brain wants to shift to the next highest gear as soon as possible for fuel-economy purposes, but that's a disease inflicting most machinery these days.Rowing through the six-speed manual gearbox isn't as fun as it should be.

1968 Dodge Charger

1968 Dodge Charger restored to an R/T (aka R/T Clone) with a 440 big block V8 and the R/T logos. It is one sweet ride! We can't tell you how many waves, honks and compliments we get when we take it out. This car has appreciated in value since we've owned it because there are so few left in such great condition and they are in high demand because of their "shark-like" body styling and their appearances in numerous Hollywood movies.

These cars are starting to be bought up by newly wealthy Asians, so this car may have additional investment potential. We bought this car from a dealer in Syracuse, NY, who told us that the car was originally from Virginia. If you are interested, please refer to the decoded VIN below. The car was fully restored some years ago. The restoration is of high quality all stock except for the wheels, which are chrome slotted mags. The trunk, underside, quarter panels are rust free.

 

The paint still has a high shine and you can eat out of the engine compartment. There is a small area in the doorjamb on the driver side that has some paint cracking. There is a small bubble on the trunk hood; otherwise, the car is clean from top to bottom, inside and out. The chrome is original and looks great with a few signs of thinning and fade. Interior is like new except for some wear on the center console and dash bezel.

The previous owner took care of most of the functional and mechanical parts, including new brakes, vacuum booster, master cylinder and all hardware, fresh motor and transmission, all new rubber seals front to back including all new door, trunk, hood rubber snubbers, hood seals, cowl seals, and hood insulation. Previous owner indicated the car has had a factory style undercoating applied. The previous owner told us that this is an A/C car and left us with a box of A/C parts. The buyer gets these parts with car, but we will not vouch for the usability or condition of these parts. Since we have owned the car, We have done a compression test on the engine, overhauled the ignition system, fine-tuned the carburetor, inspected the seals, overhauled and tightened up the front end, installed a new dual exhaust with chrome tips and great sounding mufflers, and installed 4 new seat belts so the car would be a very safe and reliable driver.

2013 Dodge Viper

The SRT Viper and Viper GTS both will have same new logo called ‘Stryker’ by the viper club of America. This new viper has been given the naturally aspirated  8.4 litre v10  which produces 640hp and 600lb torque. This engine also made a record as it has more torque then any other naturally aspirated  engine in the world. The new Viper is also 25 pound lighter then the old one, and tech that includes electronic mulitstage stability control, traction control and 4 way brakes.

The whole mess is linked to a 6-speed manual (manual) transmission with a shorter throw and closer gear ratios. While I am thrilled to hear that it's got a manual transmission, I'm ecstatic to learn that the shifting situation has been improved. No more icing my right shoulder after a stint in the driver's seat. There are two versions of the new Viper; the regular one and the GTS. The legendary manual gearbox is refreshed too and is 3.55 mili second faster then older one. The body is aluminum and interoir totally new .right now there is no information about it acceleration or top speed. The 640-hp V10 aluminum engine sticks around for the reincarnated Viper. It's got a bit more horsepower that the last version, and a bit less torque, at an even 600 lb-ft. See Engine of 2013 Dodge Viper.

The look of the Viper has become iconic in the past nearly two decades, and SRT didn't want to mess with that. There were rumors that new partner-via-Fiat Ferrari might have a hand in the new Viper's design, but the final product seems to have kept the brutish American look we've come to love. The ultra-high flow intake manifold is newly lightened, and there's an aluminum flywheel.

But like so many Americans, the Viper did need to lose some weight. This was achieved by using new carbon-fiber panels for the hood, roof, and decklid, plus aluminum door panels. Signature touches like the "gills" at the fenders that cool the engine and the double-bubble roofline that allows for more headroom were kept, while the headlights and taillights got the full LED treatment and a little snarly upgrade to their look.
